I’m not dead yet
I apologize, everyone, for the long lag time between posts. I recognize that I can’t make up for it by burst-posting, but that’s sort of the way it goes. Updates in a few, once I’m done writing this.
Things are going to be increasingly scarce around here anyway, I’m sorry to say. This is because I am now bound by the Tribune Company’s policy on personal blog postings. I don’t intend to post much about work, but one of the moderately frustrating things about it is that it says I’m also not supposed to post my opinion on things that are in the newspaper’s purview. I have no idea how, as a features designer, Wes’ opinion on politics really has anything to do with anything, but I suppose I’ll have to start disclaimer-ing more material.
So, the standing disclaimer will read: “The contents of this post are my opinion only, and not only do they not reflect the opinions of my employer, Orlando Sentinel Communications and the Tribune Company, but furthermore, they are not in any way related to my work or the reporting contained in the Orlando Sentinel. I make it my policy not to post until after the Sentinel’s coverage, and not to post on anything which comes across my desk.”
Yee-haw. Update coming soon.
