God, I could practically write a linguistics paper just about the fact that it’s funny to invert subject and object here. Think about the implications! (As opposed to, say, the linguistic and sociolinguistic interaction of Hawaiian Creole English and standard English. Which is what I’m supposedly researching. Honest, I am… trying, that is.)
